Roadsurfer

This self-initiated spec ad was created to capture the feeling I associate with roadsurfer: freedom, time outdoors and the possibility of turning a simple road trip into something memorable.

The project came together very spontaneously. Fini & I had access to the camper for only around five hours during one weekend. This meant that the concept, locations and individual scenes had to be planned carefully in advance, while still leaving enough room for natural and unplanned moments during the shoot.

We filmed the project along the Baltic Sea in Germany and focused on a mixture of wide coastal landscapes, drone shots and smaller lifestyle moments around the camper. Warm evening light, quiet scenes by the water and simple moments together helped us create a film that feels more like a personal travel memory than a traditional product advertisement.

The goal was not only to show the camper itself, but also the experience around it: arriving somewhere new, slowing down, spending time outside and having the freedom to stay wherever the journey feels right.

Despite the limited production time, we were able to create a complete visual story and use the project as an opportunity to further develop our approach to cinematic travel and brand content.
